Alright. I am getting around to enter into this exchange this year and hope it will work out this time around!

I am mostly obsessed with the world of DnD right now - so the fandoms connected to that are definitely the favorites together with anything Castlevania.

Baldur's Gate 3

Right now BG3 is definitely where my brain worms or tadpoles are. I am so very much in love with this game and the characters - both the companions and the NPCs associated with the game. Though I do like most of the female NPCs a lot more - I am less into the middle aged white men (like Raphael) the game has to offer. Or to put it differently, I hate Raphael and was very happy, when I got around to killing him. 

Something I already wrote in the short description on AO3 and will repeat here: I really do not want to read about any Tavs or Durges here, other than a generic male or trans male Tav. This is mostly because I am trans male and this game is the first time in my life I played a CRPG with an original character, who was not female. And I just find it super uncomfortable to read about female Tavs because of that. I am sorry, that is just how it is. I am saying this, because in other exchanges I got stories that focused like 50% on the writers own Tav or Durge and yeah... That is not what I want, sorry. It is fine if a generic (trans) male Tav gets just mentioned - same goes for the canonical male dragonborn Durge - but please just... No other Tavs/Durges, alright?

The main ship I would love for this is the polyamorous relationship Karlach/Lae'zel/Nocturne/Shadowheart/Wyll in the constellation seen below. It would also be alright to take any two or three person group among the characters and write something about them. I personally just like the idea: Karlach survives. She and Wyll go post-canon together with Shadowheart, who still gets hunted down by Sharrans. After some point they meet Lae'zel who either stayed in Faerûn or returned there. And I guess Nocturne leaves the Sharrans after a while and joins them too. Adventures and shenanigangs follow.

It should be noted that I headcanon Wyll as demisexual, and Shadowheart as very submissive and at times even masochistic. Lae'zel acts all dominant, but can actually be a switch.



Alternative I absolutely do adore Lakrissa and Alfira. Since my main playthrough on which all of my headcanons are based is with a chaotic good bard Tav, Alfira obviously survived the story in my case. Just let them open their music school and have some slice of life everyday little adventures in the city. I could see so much just normal stuff with them. I would love a story in which they interact with Rolan and siblings, I could see them interact with other characters, or just soft stuff, like Alfira trying to teach Lakrissa some music and such. When it comes to smutty stories with them, I would prefer them to be a bit more vanilla/fluffy.

And of course very self-indulgent: Araj/Aurelia.This is my crackship and very much based on the story Bound by Blood. Basically: I love Araj as a character, because she is so interesting. She is from one of the big fallen houses of Menzoberranzan, but she is so removed from Menzoberranzan that she thinks she wants to return there - but actually might not enjoy it as much as she thinks. In the story linked above, she is on her way there when she hears about 7000 spawn. So, instead of trying (and dying in doing so) to restore her house, she ends up finding a vampire to bite her. I do imagine the two later on adventuring in the Underdark together.

When it comes to Araj/Aurelia and smutty headcanons, it should be notice that I HC Araj as a lesbian and a virgin. And also deep in the closet, because when her family still lived, they wanted her to reproduce. While lesbian sex is fine among drow, the idea of only having lesbian sex was not something that was fine to them. Aurelia is bisexual and about as traumatized as Astarion, duh.







Castlevania (Netflix)

This is of course my other big fandom as anyone looking at my Ao3 Account will learn. And this is one where I am very particular about two things: I would love a post-canon story, and I would prefer if there is at least some research put into how people in the middle ages lived.

My absolute OTP are Hector/Isaac. I just love how the two of them are complicated characters, who do so much wrong, but end in a way that they can actually improve. I love the idea of King Isaac of Styria (and how he might fare given that Europe at the time was not exactly friendly towards Muslims). And I love the idea of Hector as his reluctant advisor, and them getting closer to each other over time.I just love the two of them so much. Anything with them would be great. I also would love some smut with them. Given Hector is implied canonically to be submissive, I like Hector as a submissive partner, and Isaac as the reluctant dom. Mind you: Isaac is very much a Muslim and the Qur'an is very clear on anal sex being taboo. 

The next favorite ship for this would be Striga/Morana. As written on AO3, I am very particular about the fact that I headcanon Striga as a trans woman who has not transitioned physically (because as a vampire she cannot, her body will always return to the state her body was in when she died). I would both love a story with Striga and Morana pre-canon and post-canon.

Additionally: In my own stories Striga and Morana return back to Styria after the events of The lesser Evil. And I do just love the idea of the two of them befriending Hector and Isaac. I just love the idea of Striga as a big sister to the men. 

Lastly, I will absolutely also love anything with either Trephacard or (that would be preferred) Gretrephacard. Mind you: I do headcanon Greta as a very dominant, bisexual, but aromantic woman. Because of that I do not ship Greta and Adrian together within the couple, because I also headcanon Adrian as very demisexual, who needs a romantic connection to develop sexual interest. I would just love any slice of life with them, any adventure, family life, accidental child acquisition, pregnancy stories, or alternatively very smutty stories. Oh, and it should be noted: I absolutely read Trevor as a very submissive, very masochistic guy.








Castlevania: Nocturne

What I love most about Castlevania: Nocturne is how much the story focuses on colonialism and the rightful anger the victims/survivors. Which is why the characters that interest me here are less the characters, who are white (like Richter and Maria), and much more the other characters.

Mizrak is my favorite character in the show. And yes, this very much has to do with the fact that I grew up Catholic and was guilttripped about my queerness for my whole youth. And as such I very much identify with him a lot. So any stories about him and his background (especially with the Knights Hospitaller) would be super interesting. But please remember: He is either turkish or Palestinean. 

Same goes with Olrox of course. He is very interesting too, especially in terms of his relation to colonialism. And there is so much tragedy in his character. 

I would absolutely love anything with them together as well. Smut and hurt/comfort most of all. Let them be toxic together and stuff. Let them try and figure it out. I would love that. With them I will also make an exception. It is fine if you'd want to write an AU with them. However, something that I would want to keep is Mizrak being a Catholic man of the robes (be it either a monk or a priest) and Olrox being a Nahuatl vampire. Oh, and also: If you write smut, please no anal sex with them, as I can see Mizrak having many hangups about it because religion.

Other than that: I also very much love Edouard. He is such a sweet guy. I love that he risks it all to help the slaves escape and revolt. Also, given that I always am a sucker for bards, I adore him as an opera singer. 








Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

As I said, I am very much in love with the Forgotten Realms right now. And I am very much in love with the movie right now. I love the humor, I love the characters. What else is there to say? I somehow very much identify with Edgin as a character, too, and I love the fact that he is a dad. We do get way too few single dad characters. So yeah, he is my favorite.

I do ship him with Xenk, of course. Because the very soft rivals to lovers dynamic with the two of them is very fun. And I just love this idea of ADHD Edgin / Autism Xenk. So that is something I love to play around with a lot. 

I would prefer an adventure story with either Edgin/Xenk & Kira, Edgin/Xenk, or Edgin/Xenk and the whole party of this one. Just some DnD typical shenanigans. Including maybe some conflict when the group who is in general more chaotic good rubs against Xenk's lawful good and such. That would be super fun. 

I would take some fluff, some hurt/comfort, or some smut with them, too, though. With them I prefer softer smut, though. While I do think there might be some bondage, I cannot see them doing hard kink or anything on the SM spectrum. 

Oh, also: Give Ed some spells. He deserves them.








Digimon Adventure 02

For me Digimon was the fandom in which I started writing once upon a time - which probably does age me quite a lot. Still, my preference in fanfics about it has hardly changed - only the ships I like have.

So, let me repeat the two things I said about it on Ao3 with a bit more emphasis:

1. The Digimon and the relationship between human and Digimon are what I like most about this series. As such it is very, very important to me, that the Digimon actually show up in fanfictions. I do not care about the characters without their Digimon partners. While I am fine with the stories being set either in Japan or in the Digital World the fact that the Digimon partners are a part of the characters' life really means the world to me.
2. I grew up with the Japanese dub of this show, because starting from season 2 onwards, I always just watched it Japanese with subtitles, rather than any dubbed version of it. While over the time I have seen a lot of the German dub, I am really not very familiar with the dub names, so I would please ask you to use the Japanese character names. 

When it comes to the canon: I hate Digimon Adventure tri., so please, please ignore anything that has happened in those movies. I really did not care for it at all. Don't even mention Meiko and her Tailmon-clone. 
And while I did like Kizuna and THE BEGINNING on their own terms, I actually do not like what they did to the state of the canon.

Now, yes, I hate the official "everyone has reproduced in heterosexual relationships and has super successful careers" epilogue of the old shows, too. And I don't think "everyone has a digimon partner" will work out well. So usually I prefer to go with: "Digimon live among the people and a few folks have Digimon partners, though not everyone" as a setup.

As for the Shippings, I am a big fan of Koushirou/Taichi, Miyako/Mimi, and Daisuke/Ken. Aka: The gay squad. I am fine with either of those ships being the center. But also just friendship relationships between them. That is like totally fine. In my own headcanon - whcih you can ignore as well - Taichi, Koushiro, Miyako and Mimi all live in New York once they are adults. Koushirou, Taichi and Miyako, because they all work for the UN, and Mimi, because, well, she already lived there to begin with. 

I do prefer stories in which the characters are already adults. Be it young adults, or be it something that takes place "now", when they would be in their 30s. Either is fine with me. I just relate more to adults than to teenagers. 

Oh, and in this fandom I would prefer to not read a smutty story. I... I really don't care that much about the sex life of the characters. 






Arcane: League of Legends





Arcane is a bit of a weird fandom for me, because it only has nine episodes so far (even though the exchange will definitely cover the time when season 2 releases) and given that it ends quite literally on a cliffhanger, my own fic writing has basically covered a variety of alternate timelines. And I kinda like the idea with this fandom a lot.

So, I usually have like three different timelines I use in my own stuff. Those are:

1. After the end of the 9th episode everything goes to shit. Mel dies, Viktor becomes the Machine Herald, Jinx ends up being killed on the long term, there is war with Noxus and so on and so forth. Everything is bad and depressing and ugh.
2. After the end of the 9th episode everything somewhat turns out alright. Mel survives, Viktor does not die and does not become the Machine herald, Vi manages to get through to Jinx/Powder, and there is some sort of peace between Piltover and Zaun.
3. Actually, after episode 3 everything somewhat turned out okay. Vander survived actually, everyone is fine, Viktor actually manages to confess his feelings to Jayce, Heimerdinger listens for once before it is too late and so on. Everyone is good!

I think either scenario can have fun stories. Scenario 1 is great for the whumpiest whump, Scenario 2 is more for the gentler hurt/comfort, and Scenario 3 is my "Fluff, nobody is gonna hurt" stuff. And all are great in their own way.

As written on Ao3: Jayce. I like this dumb idiot genius. I love him. He is amazing. :) I do actually like him with Mel, though I like him more with Viktor, especially because I just think that Viktor is so nice as disability representation and I just like to see him in a relationship with this Himbo. I am totally fine with Jayce/Viktor, or Jayce/Viktor/Mel, though. That is totally fine.

Alternatively I do like Jayce and Ekko as a ship, too. Mostly because they both are geniuses, but Ekko due to being born in Zaun and growing up an orphan never got the same chances like Jayce and Viktor did. In regards to the scenarios above, I personally tend to frame it as either in Scenario 1 Jayce ends up accepting Ekko as an apprentice and Ekko is like the one trying to understand him and care (and Jayce is kinda shitty and using him to get over both Mel and Viktor), or in Scenario 2 or 3 that they just start working together and Ekko probably ends up attaching as a numer 3 or 4 onto either Jayce/Viktor or Jayce/Mel/Viktor.






League of Legends

Thanks to a certain few people I have really started to love the world of Runeterra, and I still kinda hate that Riot is not doing a whole lot with it right now - outside of Arcane. I want more short stories and comics and shit, Riot. I don't care about the stupid MOBA game. I just want more with the world and characters.

Among the characters my favorites somehow all come from the pirate haven. Meaning: My favorites are Sarah Fortune, Illaoi, Graves and Twisted Fate. And I absolutely love that the latter two are old bearded gay men! We need more of those. I just also love their dynamic and how they interact with one another. It is super fun and I absolutely love to read about them.

A ship I also like and have wished for - though I do not like them quite as much - is Sett and Aphelios, because aww, they are cute.

I do however kinda hate the canonical sexualities of Riot, because they do feel very biphobic with barely any character being bi. So... feel free to disregard that stuff.

I also would just love a story with original characters that explores the setting of Runeterra. If you really wanna make me happy, make the character trans male, because I would really love that. I am especially interested inBilgewater, Ionia, Ixtal, Shurima and Targon. The one area I really hate and would not like to read about is Demacia (because IMHO Riot is a bit too comfortable to go: "Sure, they are committing genocide, but there are good people on both sides, honestly!" which kinda ruins the setting for me.)
